Geely’s new generation of Thor hybrid technology released: 2,390km range, fuel consumption 2.62L/100km
Geely Auto announced that it will release a new generation of Thor super hybrid technology on October 30, which is touted as the “world’s new generation of super hybrid”. The average fuel consumption of models equipped with this technology is 2.62 liters/100 kilometers, the maximum range is 2,390 kilometers, and the system thermal efficiency can exceed 46%. In addition, Geely’s pure electric technology has also made progress, with the world’s first ultra-high-performance drive motor test bench with a speed of up to 30,000 rpm, which can cover the 0-1200V voltage platform.
Geely’s upcoming Starship 7 will also be equipped with a new generation of Thor super hybrid technology, with a body size of 4740×1905×1685mm and a wheelbase of 2755mm. In terms of batteries, Geely has launched its self-developed and self-produced Aegis Dagger battery, with a battery energy density of 192Wh/kg, a cycle life of 3,500 cycles, a safe driving mileage of over 1 million kilometers, and can be charged from 10% to 80% in 17 minutes.
Geely Auto’s technological progress in the field of new energy vehicles is not only reflected in super hybrid technology, but also covers pure electric drive and battery technology. These innovations will help enhance Geely Auto’s market competitiveness and promote the development of the new energy vehicle industry.
